She was interviewed by Super Lawyers about the challenges and successes of opening her own law office and operating as a solo practitioner. Although this was her first cover for the magazine, Attorney Acosta has been recognized by Super Lawyers for the last several years with the title of "Rising Star," which requires votes and recommendations from other attorneys. Super Lawyer boasts that only 2.5% of lawyers are included in that list.
